What to expect at your next appointment with Studio Prominence.

To our loyal Studio Prominence clients,

With phase two right around the corner, we are excited to start seeing you all regularly again. Please be patient as we are working tirelessly to reschedule and book new appointments. We wanted to reach out with updated policies as follows:

MASKS: we are following the recommendations of the CDC and everyone in the building (clients and staff) will be asked to wear masks due to the close contact of our business. All clients who choose to wear a mask must have a mask with ear loops since masks that go around the back of the head will interfere with the service.

ARRIVAL: when you arrive for your appointment please do not come earlier than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Please arrive alone to your appointment as we are limiting the amount of guests in the building at one time. Doors will remain locked during business hours and an intercom system will be put in place. 

INTAKE: Once you are greeted by our staff, they will be filling out a brief intake form asking you if you are currently experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 or if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19. During this intake one of our staff members will also be taking your temperature with a contact-less thermometer. If you have a temperature over 100 degrees, you will be asked to reschedule. If you are experiencing symptoms or have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 you will be asked to reschedule at a later date. We strongly encourage you to call the salon prior if this is the case. Additionally all clients will be asked to sign a Covid-19 liability waiver. Once intake and waiver have been completed you will be asked to sanitize using our provided sanitizers. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Studio Prominence does not have cancellation policy, but we would like to encourage you to cancel if you are not feeling well for the safety of everyone. If any symptoms of not being well are seen you will be asked to reschedule. 

PERSONAL ITEMS: we ask that you do not bring a handbag or other personal items in the salon for sanitation reasons. Please bring only your cell phone, a method of payment, and any other essential items. 

DRINKS AND SNACKS: Our beverage and snack services will be suspended during this time to avoid removal of masks. Please drink plenty of water prior to your appointment. 

SOCIAL DISTANCING: Please maintain social distancing of 6ft within the salon from other clients. Our stations accommodate it as well. 

MAGAZINES: We will not have magazines to read during appointments for sanitation reasons. 

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP OUR CLIENTS AND STAFF SAFE: As previously stated, all staff members will be required to wear a mask. Stylists will be thoroughly sanitizing their stations and implements for each client, as well as washing their hands or using hand sanitizer frequently. All staff will be required to have their temperature taken and logged at the beginning of each shift. We will be sanitizing commonly used surfaces every 15-30 minutes, as well as sanitizing the point-of-sale system after each guest checks out. 

We understand that this is a lot of information, but are confident that everything is streamlined so that your appointment will be stress free, as always. We appreciate your understanding of these temporary policies during this unprecedented time.
